Aircraft Meeting
2 500 people. The approch is close to National park Sonfjället. The national park is one of Sweden’s most highly bear populated areas. In springtime one can see bears crossing the runway when leaving their winter lairs. There are also moose and reindeer in the area. During one week (wednesday - wednesday) pilots and aviation interested peolpe meet at the airport. For those who want to do things outside of the airoport the flight society and partners offers several events every day during the week i.e. bear and moose safaris, fishing, hiking and more. We can also offer activities for kids such as visiting a farm, swim in a mountain lake and more. Bicycles are available for those wishing to explore the area on their own. The airport pub will be serving food, ice cream, coffee, bear & wine. There will be a BBQ every evening. You can also learn about sami culture at the airport. In a large tent you can fin sami crafts, arts, music and food. One of the evenings we will serve a sami three-course meal with roasted reindeer. Accomodation in chalets in nearby Sonfjällets Camping. In the mornings, and evenings, there is a horse and carriage going to/from the airport and to/from Sonfjällets Camping. If you want to walk it is a 45 minute walk. It is also possible to “camp under the wing”. Toilets and showers are to be found in the pub. For those who want a more comfortable accomodation there are also hotels in the area. Bienvenue au Rassemblement
2024 d'avions classiques en Suède. Du 1-4/8, nous nous retrouverons à Vemdalen sur le terrain d'Hedlanda ESNC (1200 x 35 en dur). Vemdalen est situé en Suède au pied du Parc National du Sonfjället. Pendant une semaine, les machines volantes, les pilotes et leurs familles en provenance de toute l'Europe pourront se rencontrer. Vous pourrez camper sur le terrain ou au camping de Lake Creek non loin de là. Chaque jour, vous aurez le choix entre deux activités. Par exemple: safari photo à l'ours, visite de la ferme aux élans, pêche à la mouche, randonnée en montagne, rencontre avec le peuple Sami etc... Sur le terrain, il y aura aussi une tente lapone sous laquelle vous pourrez goûter la cuisine locale et admirer (ou acheter) l'artisanat d'art Sami ou écouter leur musique. Il y aura également au moins une soirée festive durant laquelle vous dégusterez du renne cuisiné au barbecue à la mode lapone. N'oublions pas l'atelier de fabrication d'une cabane en rondins dans les bois ! Bref, vous vous sentirez comme un vrai trappeur ! Pour ceux que ces activités n'intéressent pas, vous pourrez toujours rester au bar de l'aéroclub pour vous restaurer et discuter d'avions autour d'une bière ou d'un verre de vin. in Schweden. Vom 1-4/8 treffen sich
Flugbegeisterte in Vemdalen auf dem Flugplatz
Hedlanda ESNC 1200x35. Der
kleine Ort Vemdalen liegt mitten in
Schweden, am Fuße des Sonfjället Nationalpark.
Eine Woche lang
landen hier Piloten aus ganz Europa mit ihren Flugmaschinen und
treffen Freunde und Bekannte. Wohnen kann man direkt am
Flugplatz oder am nahe gelegenen
Campingplatz beim See
Viken. Täglich bieten wir den Gästen mindestens zwei
verschiedene Aktivitäten zur Auswahl an, z.B.
Bärensafari, Elchsafari, Angeln, Bergwandern im
Nationalpark, Ausflug zu den Sami
usw. Auf dem Flugplatz gibt
es ein Sami-Zelt, in dem Sie
traditionell samisches Essen versuchen können. Auch Handwerk,
Kunst und Musik samischer Künstler
werden präsentiert. Höhepunkt ist ein festliches Abendessen,
am dem wir gegrilltes Rentier
essen werden. Eine weiteres Highlight ist unser
Blockhaus-Workshop, in dem Sie lernen können, wie eine Holzhütte
gebaut wird. Und wenn Sie mögen, können Sie auch ganz einfach
die wunderschöne Natur genießen oder mit Freunden ein Glas
Bier oder Wein im kleinen Flugplatz-Restaurant genießen. Wir sehen uns in Vemdalen!
